Come on in...
You could describe church as being a bit like a beachfront. Some people like to drive up and just sit in their cars and look at the sea. Others like to get out and sit on the sea wall. Some want to get down onto the beach, and some may even want to paddle. The really keen people just can’t wait to run into the sea and go for a swim. At Riverside Vineyard we know that everyone is different and people need to be able to engage with church at their own pace.
People come to Riverside Vineyard for all sorts of different reasons, and at different stages in their faith journey. Some may want to "swim with the dolphins" straight away, others may just want to sit and watch for a while, before they choose to get their toes wet…
Wherever you are on your faith journey, we want Riverside Vineyard to be a place where you can explore and connect at your own pace. If you stick around and this church begins to feel like home to you then we'd encourage you to do five things: -
TRY TO COME REGULARLY ON A SUNDAY
Sundays are when the gathered church gets to celebrate and learn together. It is the best place to keep connected with what is going on in the life of the church.
FIND A SMALL GROUP TO JOIN
The best way to connect and form friendships is through one of our small groups. Pick up a flyer on Sunday or talk to the Welcome Team about finding a small group that is right for you.
FIND A TEAM TO SERVE ON
There are many ways you can give your time and talents. Please contact the office or speak to the Welcome Team on a Sunday.
SUPPORT WITH YOUR RESOURCES
We are so thankful for the generosity of those who give to Riverside Vineyard providing us with the resources to do things well and support ministries outside the church. Having the finances available means we can continue to bless our community generously and fund the many projects and events as well as the day-to-day running of the church.
COMMIT TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH
We want everyone at Riverside Vineyard to be growing in their relationship with Jesus and their relationships with others.
